This is the Men of the Harem Wiki's Manual of Style. Below are some of the guidelines that we use for keeping articles organized and in a similar fashion. Please take your time to read and follow the guidelines as closely as possible as you edit any and all pages.
Policies listed here are for usage in articles. Unless stated, they must be followed across the wiki, without exceptions. Here are a few notes before editing:
- This Wikia prioritizes the webtoon as its primary source. The webnovel is treated as a secondary source due to lack of an official English translation. Please keep this in mind when adding details and edits.
- Due to the webtoon being almost a direct adaptation of the webnovel with little changes, the Chapter pages are for both the webnovel and webtoon versions. If differences are present, they should be stated under the Trivia section.
Perspective[]
- Articles should be written with In-Universe wording. With the exception of the Trivia section, phrases like "in Chapter 23" or "in the Ascension arc" should be kept out of sentences.
General writing style[]
- The content of this wiki is expressed in English. This is an English language wiki and all edits are expected to be carried out in English (with exception to the Korean content required for names as determined by the content of the series).
- Avoid the use of obscenities, slang terms, and euphemisms in articles. They can be used only in the context of quotes from characters.
- Keep the tenses of articles/sections consistent.
- Background sections of character articles should be written in past tense. All other sections of an article, including chapter summaries, should be written in present tense.
- If the content of a section of a chapter or episode is a flashback to a previous story point or the article of a deceased character, it should also be written in past tense.
- When writing a plot, use only the name of the character to which they are known. (ex. Latil for Latrasil Valentine Tarium), do not use Latrasil). Don't also write their full names and titles.
- All information that has a page should be linked.
Naming Convetions[]
- As there is no official English translation of the webnovel, where possible, the English translation in the webtoon is treated as the official name.
- In situations where a character or place has not been mentioned by the webtoon yet, the unofficial webnovel English translation is used.
- In situations where neither of the above are possible, the most common translated version of the name is used.
- When the webtoon releases an official translation of a previously unofficially translated name, all mentions of that name in the wikia should be changed to reflect the official version.

Characters[]
Character pages should not be created before the character's name or alias has been revealed.
If applicable, character pages should begin with a meaningful quote in quote blocks by the character. Then it should have a 1-2 sentence general description and the following headings should be used in order if applicable to the character:
- The Infobox should be this.
- Appearance
- Personality
- Background (if applicable)
- Powers and Abilities
- Story (put subheadings for the story arcs)
- Relationships (if applicable)
- Trivia (if applicable)
- Quotes (if applicable)
Chapters[]
The following headings should be used in order:
- The Infobox should be this.
- Sypnosis - A 2-3 sentence description of the chapter
- Characters by Order of Appearance - A list of characters who appear in the chapter
- Summary - Synopsis of the chapter
- Chapter Notes (if applicable) - Brief bullets with key points or noteworthy events such as character debuts
- Trivia - Brief bullet points of fun facts revealed that do not fit into the summary
Countries[]
The country pages should have a summary of the history of the country, geography, governance, and known citizens.
